Nepali Translation and Validation of Dental Satisfaction Questionnaire

Introduction: Patient satisfaction is regarded as an important outcome of health care that contributes to better patient compliance and consequently offers improved clinical outcomes Dental school clinics must regulate both the academic classes in balance without hampering needs students.
 Objectives: To develop a reliable valid Nepali version Satisfaction Questionnaire (DSQ-N).
 Methodology: The English dental questionnaire (DSQ) was translated into following standard translation process. Content validity followed by pre-testing were evaluated obtain final DSQ-N. Two hundred patients attending Department Conservative Dentistry Endodontics completed DSQ-N waiting room, at their convenience. Internal consistency determined Cronbach's alpha Principal component analysis used determine construct scale.
 Result: Validity Index scale 0.9 (S-CVI/ Avg) (Cronbach's) coefficient for overall DSQ ≈0.83. Component Analysis confirmed internal structure four components emerged from it.
 Conclusion: nepali tool patients’ services based on excellent content validation result together with robust reliability.
